I, for one, have always been a hopeless romantic.
And I have always admitted it proudly.
I spent my time reading all those cliché novels and even watching those typical movies.
While people just saw a girl and boy meeting and getting together those movies and novels taught me a lot.
They showed me how to deal with struggles in my life.
Gave me a new perspective and opened my mind to a world which I didn’t even know existed.
Those said novels and movies taught me to get up and fight. To be strong and face every problem head on. To be loyal and committed. To follow my heart.
But most importantly they taught me how to love every single time I gave up on love.
They taught me how one heart break wasn’t the end of the world.
And they gave me hope.
Hope that I badly needed.
And here I am today living my very own fairy tale.
A fairy tale which has its problems, which has its bad phases, which has its downfalls, which has a negative side because it isn’t always rainbows and butterflies.
But it is a fairy tale nonetheless.
It is a fairy tale because of that one person.
That one person who is there, my very own super hero, always saving the day.
That person became my hope in the darkness in which I was drowning in.
I know I know putting your everything in one person is pretty destructive.
Many people would even condemn it.
But sometimes it is okay.
It is okay to put everything in that one person.
To invest your all.
To fight and to give up for that one person.
But make sure that person is worthy enough.
Because if that person isn’t worthy enough then all you would be left is with regret and nobody wants that.
So choose wisely who you are planning to give up your all is even worth it.
Make sure that you know what you doing it is right.
Sit in a dark room.
Close your eyes.
And ask your heart.
Ask it once.
Ask it twice.
Ask it thrice. Just to be sure.
Because as they say, “Third time’s a charm.”
And we all deserve something or someone charming in our lives.
