Transgender; An issue that has been ascended in our society as something taboo or something that is not acceptable to talk about.

But as the time sailed by we eventually developed an acceptance towards their existence.

And they even have our support now.

Today a friend of mine suggested me a movie.

The movie’s name was…

The Danish girl.

The Danish Girl is a 2015 British-American film.

It is a romantic drama directed by Tom Hooper and is centered on a fictional novel of the same name.

The movie travels around the life of two painters who married and lived in harmony like a perfect couple.

But it all went down the drain when eventually husband realized how he was a woman inside.

Nevertheless the wife supported him till the end and all through the hardships.

This movie is set in a time when being a transgender was socially intolerable and any person who was one was believed to be insane.

The surgeries were also never accomplished before and it was all a colossal threat.

This movie touched my heart and my soul to an intense level.

It exhibited the hardships every socially unacceptable person struggles through.

Yet is strong enough to pull through and fight what that person truly believes in.

It exposed me to how what you believe is worth fighting for because nobody can be a better judge of what you feel and to what level of intensity you feel.

All the transgender and even other people should watch this movie as it unlocks one’s mind and allows you to see through the affected person’s eyes.

It creates empathy towards each other that even transgender are people like us with feelings and a heart.

The Danish Girl is truly an eye opener in the times like these.
